Novere Capital aims to reach an asset portfolio of approximately EUR 100 million by the end of 2028, and achieving this objective will require raising capital, including through the capital market or other sources of financing, said Dan Petrișor, CEO of Novere Capital, at the Capital Market Forum organised by Financial Intelligence.
The company, formerly Meta Estate Trust, transferred its shares from the AeRO market to the Regulated Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange on 31 August 2026, under the ticker symbol NC. BVB announced at the time that Novere Capital was the eighth company to make this transfer.
*Dan Petrișor: The transfer to the Regulated Market, “a step towards business maturity”
Dan Petrișor explained that the move to the Regulated Market was undertaken with the aim of supporting the company’s growth and maturity and enabling access to a broader and more diversified range of capital sources.
“We made the transition to the Main Market on 31 August this year, with the desire to grow and mature the business and, at the same time, to gain access to a broader range of capital sources.”
According to Novere Capital’s CEO, the transfer also brings additional requirements in terms of reporting, governance and investor relations.
“We will begin reporting under both statutory accounting standards and IFRS. We will begin reporting on a consolidated basis and, naturally, this also brings greater rigour in terms of governance, reporting and investor relations.”
“We want this step to be a step towards business maturity that will, in effect, support the next stage of the company’s development,” added Dan Petrișor.
Asked whether Novere Capital intends to access the capital market to finance its next stage of development, Dan Petrișor noted that the company’s strategy involves significant portfolio growth.
“Our strategy is to grow and reach an asset portfolio value of probably somewhere around 100 million by the end of 2028. We will only be able to do this by raising capital, from the stock market or elsewhere.”
The target of a portfolio of approximately EUR 100 million by 2028 is also set out in the strategy communicated by Novere Capital at the time of its transfer to the Regulated Market.
Dan Petrișor explained that Novere Capital’s strategy is structured in two stages.
“Our strategy essentially has two stages: a stage of repositioning and improving the liquidity of the current portfolio, and a growth stage, which involves investing in income-producing assets, with much more stable income and predictable cash flows.”
At present, according to the company’s CEO, the portfolio repositioning process is approximately 75% complete, while the stage of reinvesting capital in income-producing assets has already begun.
Asked what qualities a company needs to become attractive to investors, Dan Petrișor pointed first and foremost to predictability and transparency.
“Predictability, transparency, in the sense that it must be very clear to any investor, however sophisticated or less sophisticated they may be, what that company does, how the business operates and, essentially, what outcome an investor could expect in the coming period, in the next quarter or perhaps even in the coming years.”
According to Novere Capital’s CEO, these are complemented by active communication between the company’s management and investors, as well as the relationship between risk and return.
*“We are a company that will deliver predictable and sustainable income”
Dan Petrișor emphasised that Novere Capital, as a company in the real estate sector, builds its strategy around predictable and sustainable income, rather than growth expectations associated with other sectors.
“As a real estate company, we will never claim to be an artificial intelligence company that can grow by 100% in a year. We are a company that will deliver predictable and sustainable income. That is what we build on.”
When assessing an investment, he considers the balance between the risk taken and the potential return to be important: “Naturally, any investor should look at the balance between the risk taken and the returns that can be expected.”
Founded in 2021, Novere Capital is a rapidly expanding real estate investment platform whose shares began trading in 2022 on BVB’s Multilateral Trading System (the AeRO market). The following year, in March 2023, Novere Capital was included in the BET AeRO index, less than a year after its admission to trading, having met the applicable selection criteria.
